Young School of Kendall Ridge

Welcome to Young School of Kendall Ridge, located in Columbia! Our school is conveniently located in the Long Reach Village area of Columbia across from the Long Reach Community Pool.

We’re honored to have been the first Young School and have continued serving children as young as infants up through pre-kindergarten to this day. We offer flexible full- and part-time schedule options in our programs to meet your family’s needs. Our curriculum is inspired by two internationally acclaimed programs: Resources for Infant Educarers (RIE) and the Reggio Emilia approach.

Classes are taught by our dedicated teaching staff who participate in ongoing professional development and training, including maintaining current Infant/Child First Aid and CPR certifications.

There are not enough characters allowed to share how amazing our experience has been. The caregivers are true partners in my kids' education and have helped me through rough parenting patches. Kendall Ridge YS has dynamite teachers who are so committed to their children and families. I wish all children could experience Young School! The administration team is communicative, innovative, and respectful of what makes the school individual.
